This privacy policy applies to theirietrip.com, owned and run by Liv-Up Events. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and handle it in line with the applicable law.
1. What we collect
Personal data you give us yourself when you use this site. That can include your name and contact details, anything you send through a form or a sign-up, and technical data about your visit such as your IP address, browser and device.
2. What we use it for
Only for these purposes:
- to provide our services to you, such as information about trips and events;
- to contact you about a sign-up, a question or a request;
- to improve the site and our services;
- for marketing, if you have given permission to receive it.
3. Who else sees it
Liv-Up Events does not share your personal data with third parties unless it is necessary to deliver our services, or unless we are legally required to. That means service providers acting on our behalf — our hosting provider and email services — and the authorities where the law obliges us.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, unless a longer period is legally required or permitted.
5. Security
Liv-Up Events takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you;
- have incorrect data corrected, or have it deleted;
- unsubscribe from marketing at any time;
- object to us processing your data, or ask us to restrict it.
One email to wagwaan@theirietrip.com is enough — there is no form to fill in. If you think we have handled it badly you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
7. Cookies and what this site stores
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. It stores one thing in your browser: whether you turned the video sound on or off, so it does not have to ask again. That never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
8. Changes
Liv-Up Events may change this policy. Any change is published on this page with the date it takes effect.
